Collect data for a new period

How to send out requirement packages for a new period

Updated over 3 years ago

Do you want to request data from reporting units for a new period?

These are the steps you need to follow to ensure that the requirement packages becomes unfulfilled when we enter a new reporting period, so that reporting units can see that new data is requested from them.

This is also important if you use automatic email reminders, since these emails only will go out to reporting units if the requests are unfulfilled.

Send-out for a new period

Step-by-step process:

  1. Go to Data Collection β†’ Requirement packages

  2. Press the Update existing requests button and change to the new due date and activation date. Press Update.

  3. Press the Recalculate button and choose Start.

  4. You can leave the page when the recalculation is about to start:

The system will now start recalculating all questions, so that the questions become unfulfilled where the requirement is set for a certain period that can expire.

For example, if requirement is set as "any answer in previous period"; data for December will be requested 1st of January, data for January 1st of February, etc.)

  2. Recalculate is the button used to makes the system detect that data is requested for a new period, so that requirement packages are no longer fulfilled (green) for the reporter.

Tip: You can also use this button on top of the page to update all requests at once:
